Title: Paste Nodes with connections
Post by: Danilo Nishimura on March 12, 2020, 11:41:38 PM
Hi,

When you duplicate a bunch of interconnected nodes using copy/paste, those new nodes will be connected between themselves, which is good, but the connection to unselected nodes is lost. Sometimes you want the new nodes to keep their connection to unselected nodes.
Would be nice to have such feature, maybe mapped to some shortcut such as Ctrl+Shift+V.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

You can already duplicate a node with its links to unselected nodes with Ctrl+Left click + drag.

We plan to offer the same feature for several selected nodes, which, if I understand correctly, should be what you'd like to have.

Alex, the shortcut copies only one node. I need to copy a whole selection of nodes. Vid: https://youtu.be/EEYK7vqMfPM

That's right. Currently only a single node is supported.
We plan to support several nodes in a future release.
