Whenever a Import node is selected, and the imported heightmap is a RAW file, all simulation cache is cleared.

STR:
  • Create a new project
  • Add a Import Terrain node
  • Check the raw checkbox
  • Import a raw heightmap
  • Create any simulation Node
  • Connect the import node to the simulation node
  • Select the Import Terrain node and observe the cached simulation get cleared, even if nothing is changed

This behaviour does not happen when the terrain is imported through a non-raw heightmap or  generated using a noise node.

Indeed this is not the expected behavior.

Hi,

This bug has been fixed.
The fix will be in Instant Terra 1.8.5 to be released on January 8th.
