When a node is disabled, it has no effect on the nodes to which it is connected.

Disable/enable a node, select it and either

  • Click the node's button.
  • Select Edit > Disable node from the main menu. The menu entry changed to Enable once the node is disabled.
  • Press the keyboard shortcut D.

If several nodes are selected and some are activated and others deactivated, both menu entries are present, but only the entry Enable nodes is associated with the keyboard shortcut D.

  • For a terrain, flat terrain is generated if the node is disabled.
  • For a mask, a black mask is generated if the node is disabled.
  • For a color map, a white color map is generated if the node is disabled.
