Adding a Vector warp node

The Vector warp node distorts a mask.

To add a Vector warp node, right-click in the Graph Editor and select Create Node  > Mask Transformation  > Vector warp or use the keyboard shortcut NMVW (Node Mask Vector Warp).

This node has three inputs:

  • Input 1: The mask to modify.
  • Input 2: The mask that determines the displacement in the X axis at each value.
  • Input 3: The mask that determines the displacement in the Y axis at each value.
  •

Select the node to open its parameters:

Use the Strength slider or adjust the intensity of the warp.

For the masks used to determine the displacement, a positive value leads to a displacement to the right (in X) or down (in Y) and a negative value leads to a movement to the left (in X) or up (in Y).
