To achieve certain effects, we can sometimes animate so many parameters that we find ourselves lost.

It may be easier in some cases to create two different terrains, which correspond to the start state and the finish state, possibly by duplicating part of the graph. Then, you blend these two terrains by animating the blend coefficient. You can, of course, have more than two states.

To create discontinuities in an animation, use the Select node, which allows you to switch abruptly from one terrain to another, or from one mask to another.
