What's new in Instant Terra v1.9?
More Warp nodes
The
Directional warp terrain
and
Directional warp mask
nodes transform a terrain or a mask by another terrain or mask that determines the displacement at each vertex or value.
The
Vector warp terrain
and
Vector warp mask
nodes distort a terrain or a mask by displacement along the X axis and Y axis.
The
Warp terrain
and
Warp mask
nodes distort a terrain or a mask by adjusting the warp intensity and scale.
In addition to the
Swirl terrain
node, the
Swirl mask
node applies a rotation distortion to the mask.
Tiling
The
Full terrain composition
,
Full terrain composition with mask
, and
Full mask composition
now have a tiling feature to repeat the terrain along the X and/or Y axis.
Equalizer for noises
Set the strength of each of the number of levels in the
Perlin noise
,
Billowy noise
,
Ridged noise
, and
Cellular noise
terrain generators using an equalizer to generate different effects.
Painted masks
You can now initialize your painted mask from an input mask. See the
Painted mask node
for details.
File name parameter
The new
File name
node defines the import or export file name.
Your components can now use a
file name
as a parameter for your terrain, mask, or color map images.
Your custom Python scripts can now use a file name as
input, output
or
parameter
.
