Colorizers
- Colorize node: The Colorize node selects and applies a pre-defined color theme to a terrain based on its topology.
- Advanced colorize node: The Advanced colorize node allows you to define and apply your own colors to a terrain based on its topology.
Color management
- The terrain distortion nodes Swirl, Warp, Directional warp, and Vector warp can now apply distortion to any color map imported with the input terrain.
- The same distortion can be applied directly to color maps with the Swirl color map, Warp color map, Directional warp color map, and Vector warp color map nodes.
- The Constant color node defines a constant output color to apply to a constant color map.
Painted mask
A new Constant value brush is available in the Painted mask node to set the brush value to between 0 and 1.
New nodes
Utility nodes
- Save point node: Add a Save Point node to cache a terrain, mask, or color map. When opening the project, the upstream nodes do not need to be recomputed as long as no change impacts the result of the cached data.
- Select node: The Select calculation node selects an input from a variable number of inputs between 2 and 10. It can be connected to any type of data: terrain, mask, color map, color map, color ramp, value, file name, or color.
Terrain node
Terrace node: The Terrace node generates automatic terraces based on a specified number of levels and a slope angles.
Mask nodes
- Apply mask node: This node converts an input terrain and an input mask into a color map, which is then applied to a terrain.
- Constant mask node: You can now generate a constant mask with a set size and a constant value.
- Cutout node: The Cutout node transforms a mask by creating a number of levels.
UI/UX/Ergonomie
- Top view: Use the keyboard shortcut T or select View menu > Top view entry to view the terrain, mask, or color map from the top.
- Create an import node by dragging and dropping an image file.
Custom nodes
- GPU custom nodes now support color map inputs and outputs.
- The color map of an input terrain can now be transformed when the terrain is transformed.
Components
- Three new nodes handle colors in components: Color input, Color output, and Color parameter.
- The values of the Value parameter node can now be displayed as a combobox, radio buttons, or images.
- Specify conditions to hide or disable parameters.
API
API C# and Python: New functions to determine if a node is activated or deactivated and to change its status.
